About Me
Hi, I'm Sam. Welcome to my website! I am a I am a classically-trained tenor and voice teacher in the Salt Lake City area.

I am in my last year of my MM degree program (Vocal Performance & Pedagogy) at the University of Utah, where I sing in the Graduate Quartet. My recent operatic performances include Albert Herring with Chicago Summer Opera; Last year at Utah I was involved in the orchestral world premiere of A.L.I.C.E. by Amy Scurria, Amahl and the Night Visitors, and A Christmas Carol. This year with the University I will be performing my first Rodolfo (!!!) as well as revisiting the role of Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus.

In addition to singing, I love to play piano (Lego and real), drum set, guitars, and trombone. I encourage my students to learn as many instruments as they can! My original music can be found under the artist name Sam'l on Bandcamp and wherever you stream music:
